Abstract This study analyses the influence of environmental and individual conditions on quality speed entrepreneurial re-entries in emerging economies after a business failure. We propose conceptual framework supported by institutional economic theory to conditions; human social capital individuals’ skills, experiences, relationships. A retrospective multiple case analysis was designed test our model capturing longitudinal information occurred events, trajectory, determinants twenty re-entrepreneurs.
